On January 24, 2023, an industrial site a few kilometres from the town of Mena, Chernihiv region, was included in the register of industrial parks of Ukraine. On the territory of 68.6 hectares, it is planned to launch enterprises in the field of processing, scientific activity, woodworking and logistics. Mena park will become another platform for recovering Ukraine's economy and attracting foreign investments. It is planned to employ about 3.000 specialists, which will contribute to the development of the flow of funds to local communities and their development.
The approximate amount of investment in the industrial park is $1-1.5 million/ha. Currently, there are already 2 companies from China that are ready to invest in Mena park. In addition to private investments, budget funds will be used.
