On June 28, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in his festive address on Constitution Day, announced the need to legalise medical cannabis for Ukrainians who struggle daily with physical and mental pain.
"So that all our citizens, Ukrainians and Ukrainians, do not have to endure the pain, stress and trauma of the war, we must finally honestly legalise cannabis-based medicines for everyone who needs it," Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Today this issue is more critical than ever. Because before, we didn't have so many people chopped by lacerations, limb-blown missile blasts, traumatised by military events and the deaths of Russian and mercenary loved ones. Therefore, in addition to the legalisation of cannabis, Ukraine will invest in research and production in this area, as well as adapt urban infrastructure and transport for those who now move on crutches or a wheelchair.
"A person with war injuries should use all the space and opportunities that everyone else uses," Zelenskyy.
Today, several rehabilitation centres have been opened in Ukraine for those who suffered from the war. In these centres, fenders receive prosthetics, rehabilitation and psychological assistance.
