Mariupol Hero, Paramedic Julia Paevskaya Released From Captivity

During a prisoner exchange on June 17, a paramedic known as Tyira was released

The case of Taira is another blatant evidence of the arbitrariness of the Russian army. The woman went to the front as a volunteer doctor and became the head of the voluntary detachment of doctors Angels of Tyira. As a doctor and volunteer, Julia could not be taken prisoner as a military hostage. However, it happened, and for a long time, there was a possibility that the Russians would have executed her.

Through the efforts of the responsible departments, Julia managed to be pulled out of captivity. Today she recorded her 1st video message.

"I am grateful to president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy for organizing this exchange. I always believed that everything would be like this. Everyone who is now on the other side knows that everything will work out, and we will all be at home. I feel at home now," Julia Paevskaya.

We remind you that the invaders took Yulia Paevskaya prisoner on March 16, when she rescues the wounded civilians in Mariupol. On June 17, Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that she had been released from captivity.
