Ma’ryzhany Industrial Park: A Hub for Technical Hemp and Flax Processing

The Ukrainian government has registered two new industrial parks, “Ma’ryzhany” and “Dobrosyn Invest Park,” as part of its ongoing efforts to boost industrial development and attract investment

Located in the Khoroshiv territorial community of the Zhytomyr region, the "Ma'ryzhany" industrial park is set to become Ukraine's first facility dedicated to the cultivation and processing of industrial hemp and flax. Covering an area of 30.2 hectares, the park is expected to attract nearly UAH 2 billion in investments and create approximately 750 jobs.

This initiative, backed by the Zhytomyr Regional State Administration, aims to foster the growth of Ukraine's textile industry by leveraging the region's agricultural potential. The investment required for the project is estimated to range between $4 million and $11 million.

Dobrosyn Invest Park: A Diverse Industrial Facility in Lviv Region

The "Dobrosyn Invest Park," located in the village of Dobrosyn in the Lviv region, will focus on the manufacture of plastic and metal products, food production, woodworking, and other industrial activities. The park will span 14.6 hectares, with the potential to create up to 500 new jobs and attract UAH 1.6 billion in investments.

Strategic Importance

These industrial parks are part of Ukraine's broader strategy to enhance regional development, create jobs, and attract foreign and domestic investment. By focusing on industries like textile production and diverse manufacturing, these parks are expected to contribute significantly to the local economies of the Zhytomyr and Lviv regions.

The registration of these parks marks a key milestone in Ukraine's industrial growth, paving the way for increased economic activity and the development of specialized industrial sectors within the country.
