Two Sandown-class ships "Ramsey" and "Blyth", belonging to the royal navy of Great Britain, will soon be transferred to Ukraine

Previously, the ships officially ended their service in the ranks of the British navy. According to the British royal navy, the ships are equipped with the latest technology, such as a mining system. The ships are also being replaced by the expanding Project Wilton initiative to introduce unmanned boats.

The new Blyth and Ramsey will have an unforgettable and rewarding experience on the Black Sea. After the completion of the repair work, both vessels will be transferred to the Ukrainian navy.

"Sandown-class mine protection ships have come a long way of 175,000 miles in 21 years for Ramsey, and 185,000 miles in 20 years for Blyth, supporting operations in the Middle East, around the UK, or performing NATO duties in Northern waters. Europe and the Mediterranean," the message says.
