Under this agreement, the American company and the Ministry of Digital Science will cooperate in the following areas:
Development of skills in working with cloud technologies, implementation of training, and certification programs for such technologies. As part of the program, Ukrainian educational institutions will be able to join the AWS Academy.
The program provides free services for students and teachers.
Support in the strategy of the Ministry for the development of IT infrastructure and cloud technologies. Programs such as AWS Activate offer free business development tools, AWS resources, tutorials, and consulting.
Cooperation on the modernization of IT systems and the Ministry of digital policy on cloud technologies.
According to the Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov, the development of cloud technologies is now a priority for Ukraine, since it helps to reduce the risks of corruption in the procurement of equipment, reduce budget costs, etc.
Recall that since the end of 2020, a legal entity AWS, a company called Amazon Data Services Ukraine LLC, has been operating in Ukraine.
