Ministry of Digitization Launches Beta Testing of the “Dreams” Educational App

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine has initiated the beta testing phase of the educational application “Mriya” (Dream), aimed at students, parents, and teachers

Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov made the announcement.

Overview:

  • Launch Date: June 5
  • Purpose: To provide each child with their own digital educational space for development.
  • Announcement: The app was presented last year by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Features of the "Dream" Application:

For Students:

  • Educational Tracking: Monitor educational achievements.
  • Schedule: Access to class schedules.
  • Task Management: View and manage a list of assignments with defined deadlines.
  • Content Library: A repository divided by interests, helping students find materials aligned with their preferences.
  • Communication: Chats in Signal for interaction with teachers and peers.

For Teachers:

  • Planning: Calendar plan and schedule management.
  • Performance Tracking: Maintain a journal of student success.
  • Assignment Management: Provide and manage assignments for students.
  • Professional Development: Access a library for professional growth.
  • Communication: Chat functionality for communication with students.

For Parents:

  • Monitoring: Access to their child’s schedule, grades, homework, and communication channels.

Testing Phases:

  1. Initial Beta Test: Assess the basic functionality of the application.
  2. Preparation for Academic Year: Further refinement in preparation for the school year.
  3. School Year Testing: Involvement of 40 schools to test the app's features during the academic year, followed by gradual implementation in all schools.

This phased approach ensures that the application is thoroughly tested and refined before widespread adoption, enhancing the educational experience for students, teachers, and parents across Ukraine.
