The MK Group continues to gain momentum: this year, namely from January to June, the MMK Group produced 6,701 million tonnes of steel. Compared to the previous year, the results have improved by 24,5%. This was reported on the company's website.
The shipments of slabs and billets (up to 0,127 million tons, + 546,6%), as well as hot-rolled sheet products (up to 2,966 million tons, + 59,4%), were significantly increased. In general, sales of commercial steel products in the first half of the year increased by 25,3% to 6,224 million tons.
“Capital expenditures in the third quarter of 2021 are expected to be below the level of the second quarter, reflecting the implementation schedule of projects within the group's strategy,” the metallurgical company said in a statement that underlined the unlimited potential of steel production in Ukraine.
