The beginning of the Russian war evokes several associations among the Ukrainians, including the unique Mriia plane destroyed by the occupiers. On February 27, 2022, the Russian armed forces attacked the airport in Gostomel, Kyiv region. The hangar of Mriia was also there. Mriya developed in Ukraine, in bureau Antonov. The whole world knows about this aircraft because it was the largest and most outstanding and powerful of the existing plane. But the occupiers did not deprive chances for fast recovery.
But Ukraine's outstanding invention is already being revived, including thanks to the computer game Microsoft Flight Simulator. The game developers want to add a model of the Ukrainian aircraft. This was reported by the state design bureau Antonov on Twitter.
Ukrainian development will appear in a separate additional game. It is reported that the updated game will be sold on the Steam platform for $19.99. All the earned funds promise to send for the renewal of the aircraft. Only on February 27, on the anniversary of the aircraft destruction, the game will be available for sale. From March 14, the game will appear on the Xbox.
