Chicago, Ukrainian Village district

A mural in honour of Ukraine appeared here. A 2-meter image of a Ukrainian woman in vyshyvanka and a wreath of flowers, a traditional folk decoration for Ukrainian women, appeared on the wall in the American quarter. The pano is made in the colours of the Ukrainian flag — yellow and blue.

The authors of the mural are American artists Conrad Edmonds and Sechor. The initiators of the gift for Ukraine are Martha Farion with the assistance of the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America in the state of Illinois.

Everybody may admire this work at 815 N. Oakley Blvd.
