Global Decor LLC will bear the expenses for the installation and decoration of the Christmas tree. In an effort to conserve energy, the tree will be adorned using limited electricity.
In a departure from tradition, this year will not see the usual array of mass events, fairs, and entertainment activities. Klitschko emphasizes that any events that do take place should be held in locations with adequate shelter and should not be financed using Kyiv's municipal budget.
