Reed Hastings, cofounder and chairman of Netflix, joined the UA1 investment fund that supports Ukraine defense industry. He became one of the key partners in a new financing round.
The UA1 fund is completing its first large fundraising round that is expected to reach $50 million by the end of April 2026. The round includes experienced US venture investors focused on defense technology.
The fund aims to identify and finance developments that can be rapidly applied on the battlefield. Priority areas include artificial intelligence, electronic warfare systems, drones, robotic complexes, and cybersecurity solutions.
