The press service of the German government reported that aid is being sent to Kyiv to protect the land from the army of Russian soldiers. The approved document's exact dates and full implementation are not disclosed for security purposes. It is known, however, that the military assistance already received or underway will include the following:
- Armoured engineering machine Dahs;
This transport is made based on Leopard 1. However, Dahs instead of combat tasks are lifting cars, and creating entrances and exit to any territory, including with water or forest obstacles.
- 8 mobile antenna systems;
- 8 drones;
It is known that the Ukrainian army will receive drones for intelligence operations.
- 23.520 rounds of 40 mm ammunition;
- 8 Zetros trucks.
This machine is suitable for warfare in difficult conditions: off-road, swamp territory. Mercedes-Benz Zetros is a manoeuvrable and roomy automobile. The new version of the truck can save the lives of soldiers – in case of failure, the truck does not need to raise the body. This will help the brigade continue to repair and defend itself in the event of an enemy attack.
This package of military aid funds the Bundeswehr and government-funded industrial plants for modernization.
