To find a well with a record gas deposit in Ukraine, it was necessary to do challenging work. In 2019, a 3D project was created based on seismic surveying. After serious preparations, the oil and gas company began a practical search for the gas field.
The gas field was named Mospanovske. The Mospanovske source is located northeast of Ukraine, in the Kharkiv region. Ukraine’s largest natural gas and condensate company UGV will develop it. 73% of Ukrainian gas belongs to this authority.
The well that was drilled during the exploration is already working. This well can produce about 239.000 cubic meters of material per day. The potential of the Mospanovske source is actively studied further. According to the research results, specialists speak about a possibility of 5 billion cubic meters.
The Mospanovske gas field is another proof of the prospects of Ukrainian lands. Note that a new source of blue fuel was found close to another functional resource of Volokhovske. Gas has been intensively mined there for several years. From this, it can be concluded that the whole area near the two sources is up-and-comingю
