The office of the prime minister of Poland reported that they are starting a new stage of cooperation with Ukraine. Both governments are ready to sign a memorandum of understanding on the preparation of a new pipeline project. This project will allow fast transportation of vegetable oils without spending time on transportation, customs, and permits.
At present, countries will work to create a working group that will present options for the localization of the object. It is planned that the port reloading terminal will be initially located in Gdansk. In Ukraine, the pipeline will be located in the calmest points. The memorandum is planned to be signed in 3 years. If both parties do not require the termination of the contract, it will automatically continue for the next 3-year periods.
"The implementation of the memorandum will contribute to the partial unblocking of Ukrainian exports and the increase of food security in developing countries, which are threatened by famine. Thus, it should reduce migration pressure to Europe," the press service of the Polish premier informed.
