The National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission has published resolutions No. 497 and No. 498 dated March 31, 2026, setting new green tariff rates for Q2 2026. The new purchase prices apply from April 1, 2026 and cover electricity from renewables produced by households, consumers and energy cooperatives.
For private households with solar power plants commissioned in 2026, the rate is set at 603.86 kop/kWh (excluding VAT). For energy cooperatives and industrial consumers up to 150 kW, the fixed rates are 541.01 kop/kWh for solar generation and 628.45 kop/kWh for biogas installations.
The update confirms quarterly adjustment practice and gives market participants a clear reference point for planning new projects and financial models for Q2 2026.
