During a large-scale air alert, 8 Russian missiles were aimed at the president of Ukraine's home city. The missiles were aimed at structures of critical importance in the life support of people — water facilities. As a result of the attack, some residents of the city were left without water. Parallel to this, the streets of the suburb had a free flow. Special services respond to a terrorist strike. Deputy head of the president's office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, said that the missile strike on the hydro-technical buildings is a deliberate act, similar to the strike on the thermal power plant in Kharkiv.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy was also unable not to comment on another terrorist act of Russia. Especially since it concerns the city in which he was born and raised.
"The terrorist country continues to fight against the civilian population. This time — missile strikes on hydraulic structures and an attempt to flood the Kryvyi Rih. Can it break us? No. Will their just response and retribution await? Absolutely, yes," said the president.
At the moment, it is known that all 8 missiles were fired from strategic aircraft. The water level rises in the river Ingulec. At the place of impact, there is a stem of water 100 m³ per second.
Perhaps Russia wanted to flood the Kryvyi Rih, but as in the case of knowledge of history, the governors of the aggressor country missed. If the water leaves the banks, it will flood the occupied Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.
