In 2019, due to the increase in prices on the European gas market, the price of blue gas increased from ₴ 4 to ₴ 9 per m³ in 3 months. In order to protect the consumer from a repetition of the situation and to guarantee a stable service, an annual rate of payment for gas has been developed.
Customer service 104.ua reported that the transfer to the new gas tariff will be made automatically. Updated gas prices will be published on the websites of gas service providers on April 25, 2021, and their prices will be fixed until April 20, 2022.
The conditions of use of services remain the same: payment is made until the 25th day of each month. The end-user of everyday services is entitled to transfer to a monthly tariff or to sign a contract with another provider. However, it is worth taking into account that a consumer may be refused a request for a refund on the annual tariff or to the former provider.
The renewal of the one-year contract after the expiry of the previous one will also be automatic.
