Pakistan Provides Military Assistance to Ukraine

The state to sent 2 ships with goods under foreign flags

Despite the absence of official statements from the government of Pakistan, an Asian country will send 230 containers from the port of Karachi in April. The containers will contain military assistance for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The goods will be sent on 2 ships: MV Bokram and MV Kherson under the flags of Europe and the United States.

Moreover, this is not the first time Pakistan has intervened or helped in a war against Russia. Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian offensive in Ukraine, the UK has used the Pakistan airbase, Nur Khan in Rawalpindi, as an air bridge. Thus, Ukraine's ally delivered the weapons to Ukraine via Romania.

The reason for Pakistan's interest in alliances with Ukraine may be the union that has been developing since 2021. Islamabad and Kyiv wanted to exchange missile-related technologies. The Islamic republic wanted to buy an anti-tank missile system from Ukraine before the war. It should be noted that in recent years the Ukrainian missile industry has been actively developing and has become an interest for many foreign investors and countries.
