Participation in the Peace Summit Confirmed by 90 Countries and Organizations

As of June 10, 90 countries and international organizations have confirmed their participation in the Global Peace Summit. Half of these participants are from Europe.

Key Details:

    • Switzerland sent over 160 invitations for the summit.

    • Russia was not invited to the summit.

    • President Joe Biden will not attend the summit.
    • The U.S. will be represented by Vice President Kamala Harris and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.
  6. European Participation:

    • French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz have confirmed their attendance.
