The party in 60.000 Paxlovid courses, which arrived in Ukraine last week, has already passed laboratory examination and received permission for use in emergency cases.
"The medicine Paxlovid is intended for use primarily for patients with risk groups to avoid deterioration of the condition and transition of the disease from mild severity to moderate and severe," Viktor Liashko, minister of health.
In total, Ukraine ordered 300.000 courses from the manufacturer (Pfizer).
"Since the medical aid has already been approved for emergency medical use, we are beginning to agree on the schedule of delivery of the drug to Ukraine, which we will inform additionally," commented Lyashko further actions of the Ministry.
