Zalewski stated that Poland has applied to join the Nuclear Sharing program, a move previously made by Belgium, Italy, and Germany. "Poland has expressed its readiness to participate in this program, and this intention remains firm," Zalewski emphasized. He also mentioned that any decision regarding the use of nuclear weapons, should they be stationed in Poland, would be made by the United States. Additionally, Polish President Andrzej Duda has scheduled a meeting with Prime Minister Donald Tusk on May 1 at the presidential palace to discuss this matter among other topics.
