President of Poland Addressed the Parliament of Ukraine

Andrzej Duda supported Ukraine with a direct presence and words

The president of Poland became the first foreign visitor to the parliament of Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war of Russia against Ukraine. Recall that Poland is one of the first countries that supported the Ukrainian people in all spheres:

  • Ukrainians leave the hot spots and go to Poland;
  • Sending of arms and humanitarian aid;
  • Warsaw supplies fuel for Kyiv to cope with the crisis, etc.

But the government of the neighboring country is ready to show its recognition to the people of Ukraine further, and the president of Poland visited Kyiv. His speech in parliament concerned Russian aggression.

Andrzej Duda recalled Ukrainian-Polish history and spoke about the further strengthening of international relations between the two countries. The politician also stressed that other states should have nothing in common with Russia. According to Andrzej Duda, the world needed to break business relations and shut down any business connected with Russia,  after the crimes in Bucha, Irpin, Gostomel, etc.

Recall that on May 20, the Polish head declared his wish: Ukraine’s victory in the war with Russia and regained all temporarily occupied territories within internationally recognized borders.

Also, Andrzej Duda did not miss the chance to comment on the results of the Eurovision song contest-2022. Recall that the Polish participant received zero points from the Ukrainian jury. However, Poland was not upset.

"No one can break our unity. Neither political enemies, nor foreign agents, nor Eurovision jury," said Duda in the Ukrainian parliament.
