President of Ukraine Gave an Interview to Dutch TV Channel

Volodymyr Zelenskyy told about the conditions for negotiations with Putin and the speed of continuation of the war on broadcast "Nieuwsuur"

The president of Ukraine was invited to an interview with Dutch television, covering current events in the world. Volodymyr Zelenskyy accepted the proposal, so the news anchor Nieuwsuur arrived in Kyiv. The meeting took place in the office of the president of Ukraine.

Zelenskyy was a revelation in the conversation with the presenter. He said that American partners had offered to evacuate people and prepare for war a year ago. Ukraine’s president abandoned this scenario, so the country now continues to work, export goods, and bear only $5 billion in economic losses. According to the head of state, Ukraine’s economy would no longer exist if Ukrainians began to prepare for war in 2021.

Also, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he is ready to meet with Putin. Ukraine does not need ministers of the Russian Federation and their delegation, as they do not decide anything. According to Ukrainian policy, all decisions are made only by Putin. Therefore, Zelenskyy is ready to meet with the Russian dictator after the Russian army returns to the occupied territories in 2022. The head of state also told about the end of the war and the state of the territories that were occupied in 2014.

"Every Ukrainian wants to return both Donbas and Crimea. I think we should at least return to the situation of February 24, when the Russians invaded our country. After that, we can discuss the restoration of our territory only through diplomatic means," said Zelenskyy.
