These materials are planned to be used for the assembly of An-178 aircraft. The contract was concluded for the supply of 20,250 kilograms of semi-finished products from titanium alloys. In total 38 items were included in the order. The value of the contract was $1,593,550.
The term of delivery - until December 31, 2025.
It is about a range of titanium forgings and bars (38 items in total). The products can be used for the construction of new An-178-100R transport aircraft. A contract for the purchase of three new AN-178-100R turbojet-powered short-haul transport aircraft was signed between Antonov and the Ministry of defense in December 2020.
The AN-178 transport aircraft was developed on the basis of the AN-158 passenger aircraft. The first flight of the aircraft took place in 2015, and in February 2021 the State aviation service of Ukraine excluded the An-178 from the state register of civil aircraft. This decision was caused by the absence of the airplane's airworthiness certificate for two years.
