Qatar Helped to Return Home 4 Ukrainian Children

The state has joined Ukraine’s efforts to return abducted children from the Russian deportation

On October 16 and 20, 4 kidnapped Ukrainian minors became closer to their families. Children aged 2, 7, 9 and 17 years were abducted by Russians from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. Qatari diplomats joined the operation of returning stolen children. After negotiations with the Moscow and Kyiv authorities, the children began their journey home.

A 7-year-old child has already met his grandmother, and they are on the way to Ukraine through Estonia. 3 other children are waiting for their parents or legal guardians.

Currently, Ukraine has identified 19.000 children kidnapped by Russians to Russia, countries-collaborators or temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine (which is dangerous because all occupied territories are under fire). 6.000 children were forcibly placed by Russia in re-educational camps in Russia in Belarus. Since the beginning of the war, Ukraine could return only 338 children.
