New Digital Tools for Payments
The State Customs Service of Ukraine has announced upgrades to its electronic services, designed to make customs payments more convenient and efficient.
The key change is the improvement of the “Accounts for payment of customs payments” page in the “Help” section of the Single Window for International Trade portal.
Main New Features

Users can now scan a QR code with their smartphone camera or click on it in their personal account. The banking application automatically opens with the payment form pre-filled, allowing transactions in just a few clicks. With this feature, users can:
-
Replenish the advance account on the Unified Treasury Account (for businesses and entrepreneurs).
-
Deposit funds into a customs deposit account (for citizens).
-
Pay tax debt or make additional customs payments independently.
-
-
Always updated account details
At the bottom of the page, the latest Treasury account details are displayed for:-
Paying tax debt under a tax notice-decision.
-
Making additional customs payments under a customs declaration.
-
Business Benefits
For businesses, the portal also offers enhanced access to tax notices-decisions (after authentication). This includes:
-
Viewing all current tax notices online.
-
Tracking fines and penalties accrued for late payments in real time.
These updates are expected to streamline accounting processes, reduce errors, and speed up transactions between businesses and the customs system.
Broader Reform Context
The modernization of customs payment services is part of Ukraine’s broader push for digitalization and transparency in trade and taxation.
-
In September 2025, Ukraine issued its first authorization for the operation of a customs warehouse, signaling further reforms to simplify and modernize trade procedures.
✅ Bottom line: With the introduction of QR codes and real-time account details, the State Customs Service is taking another step toward cashless, transparent, and user-friendly customs services for both citizens and businesses.
