On June 7, at the Stephansplatz in Vienna, about 200 members of the Ukrainian community of Austria took to the peaceful rally against Russian terrorism. The reason for the rally under the downpour was the explosion of the Kakhovka dam — another terrorist act by Russia against Ukraine.

"Today, we express our protest, anger and pain against Russian invaders' ruthless undermining of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant. This act of terrorism violates the basic norms of international law and endangers environmental safety, leaving tens of thousands of people and animals in a critical situation. We call on Austria and the European Union immediately deal with this situation and pay special attention to this crisis situation," the organiser of the action and the leader of "Unlimited democracy" Anna Pattermann.
