On February 18, the government of Ukraine introduces European investing-in-ukraine/service-for-investors/logistics-providers/" rel="dofollow">logistics standards and determines the critical axle loads of the vehicles depending on their number and the distance between them.
In accordance with the regulation, the maximum weight for a car with two axles is 18 tons, and for a truck with 4 axles — 32.
The law also covers the maximum weight of tractors with semi-trailers:
- Tractor with 2 axles + trailer with 2 axles — 36 tons;
- Tractor with 3 axles + trailer with 3 axles — 40 tons;
- Container ship — 44 tons.
Recall that from October 1, 2021, a law has been in force in Ukraine that controls the implementation of weight and size standards in Ukraine.
