The parties discussed a number of issues related to the development of bilateral cooperation in agriculture, infrastructure, energy, science and technology, investment, industry, space, health, transport and transit, tourism, IT and public procurement cooperation.
In addition, the Ukrainian side invited the Kazakhstanian side to consider the possibility of investing in Ukrainian industrial parks. Cooperation within the framework of public-private partnership is also promising. Kazakhstanian companies were invited to participate in the concession in Ukraine. The parties also discussed and identified new projects based on the strategic interests of both countries.
For 3 months of 2021, the volume of trade in goods and services between Ukraine and Kazakhstan amounted to $252.4 million dollars. (+ 41.2% compared to the same period last year). At the same time, exports of goods from Ukraine to Kazakhstan amounted to $86.5 million dollars.
Agriculture is of great importance in Kazakhstan and should develop intensively in the future. However, natural conditions are difficult due to the pronounced continental climate.
