According to statistics from the State Customs Service in May, revenues from exports of ferrous metals amounted to $1.19 billion, Interfax-Ukraine reported.
Meanwhile, Ukraine increased imports of similar products in January-May this year by 16.3%, to $440 million, while in May the figure was $115.04 million.
As reported, metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine in 2020 reduced export revenues from ferrous metals by 12% compared to the previous year — up to $7 billion 690.38 million.
