Chortkiv is a small town in the west of Ukraine, an architectural gem of our country. The population of the city is 28.686 people. And today, this architecturally monumental town was shelled by the Russian army. Specifically, targeted strikes were carried out on civilian infrastructure and the city's gas pipeline.
This was announced by the head of the Ternopil Regional military administration Volodymyr Trush at a morning meeting. According to preliminary data, 22 people were injured, including a 12-year-old child and 7 women.
"Fortunately, there were no casualties. All night long, they provided assistance to the victims, including children. Now we are working to eliminate the damage and fix the damaged property of civilians," Volodymyr Trush.
Due to a rocket hitting the gas infrastructure, gas was turned off throughout the city.
We remind you that on June 11, the Russians shelled Donetsk, and due to damage so far unknown to us, the entire Donetsk region was left without electricity.
