Romania Goes Towards Ukraine

On April 4, Romania will cancel all documentary requirements for carriers from Ukraine

Today, there are several necessary permits for trucks. On the night of March 5, they will be canceled, which will make the Ukraine-Romania logistics map transparent and straightforward. The innovations were announced by the deputy minister of infrastructure of Ukraine Mustafa Nayem.

"A few minutes ago, we received official confirmation from our Romanian colleagues on our request for the complete abolition of all types of international permits for Ukrainian carriers," Mustafa Nayem.

Before Romania, logistical requirements for Ukrainian carriers were canceled by Latvia, Slovakia, Bulgaria, and Hungary. Today our neighbor on the border has joined them.

"In the context of the closure of borders with the Russian Federation, this will allow Ukrainian carriers to use an alternative route for the return of vehicles, cargo, and drivers from the territory of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan," Nayem explained.

Previously, crossing the border in both directions was a complicated procedure. And this naturally slowed down exports and imports. Now bureaucratic difficulties are in the past.
