During a press conference, the Ukrainian ambassador to Israel Yevgen Korniychuk stated the need for the iron Dome to defend Ukraine and its citizens. It is known that the United States has been sponsoring the maintenance of Israeli iron domes for more than 10 years, spending a total of about $1.6 billion. According to Korniychuk, the United States is not against the transfer of the Israeli iron dome to Ukraine.
"We need military-technical support, we need the iron dome. This will allow us to save our civilian women and children from Russian missiles," Yevgen Korniychuk.
Korniychuk did not avoid the topic of how Israel literally canceled the topic of Russia's war against Ukraine: "Israel is no longer focused on the war. Ukraine is almost completely withdrawn from the Israeli press. So there is no more war."
We remind you that Israel does not provide military assistance to Ukraine, refuses to accept wounded Ukrainian soldiers for treatment, and also blocks requests from other states to transfer weapons with an Israeli license to Ukraine. For example, a few days ago, Israel refused the US to transfer its Spike anti-tank missiles to Germany.
"I want the Israeli government to leave the comfort zone and return to reality," the ambassador.
According to the Jerusalem Post, Israel is in no hurry to help Ukraine, as it is trying to maintain relations with Russia, which, in a negative scenario, may reduce its presence in Syria.
