Russia Has Chosen a New Nuclear Target in Ukraine

On September 19, the Russians fired on the South Ukrainian nuclear power plant. The missile exploded 300 m from a nuclear reactor

Today, Energoatom published an alarming report about a Russian rocket fire on the South-Ukrainian nuclear power plant (the city of Yuzhnoukrainsk, Mykolaiv region). The missile fell and detonated 300 m from the nuclear reactor.

"A powerful explosion occurred just 300 meters from the reactors of the South nuclear power plant. The building of the nuclear power plant was damaged by a shock wave, and more than 100 windows were broken. One of the hydroelectric units of the Oleksandrivska HPP, which is part of the South-Ukrainian energy complex, was turned off. 3 high-voltage power lines were also turned off," a representative of Energoprom said.

The crater from the exploded rocket on the territory of the nuclear power plant is 4 m in diameter and 2 m deep. Now each of the 3 power units of the nuclear power plant is operating in the normal mode. The staff was not physically hurt.
