Russia Strikes New York

On April 28, Russian military forces launched an airstrike on the town of New York in the Donetsk region, Ukraine

On the morning of April 28, Russia fired again at the Donetsk region. According to the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, unguided missiles of the "army" of Russia hit residential buildings and industrial enterprises. As a result of the blow, three moldy Ukrainians were killed, and three others were wounded.

The settlement of New York near Mariupol was created by German mennonite settlers in 1892 and was called that from the day of its foundation. In 1951, the settlement was renamed Novgorodskoe, and on February 14, 2021, the city's residents returned their historical name to their settlement.
