Russian Missile Attacks. Zaporizhzhia 2 March

On 2 March, a Russian "S-300" hit a high-rise house in Zaporizhzhia 

After 1 a. m., the Russian military attacked the regional centre of the Zaporizhzhia region. The occupiers used a missile system to destroy the city. As a result of the night terror, the S-300 rocket hit a multi-story building. The shell destroyed 3 floors at once in several sections of a residential building. Rescuers immediately began an operation to eliminate the consequences and save people. Ukrainian rescuers removed 4 bodies of killed Ukrainians from under the rubble almost immediately. 

As of 9:30 a. m, 11 people were rescued, including a pregnant woman. Also, 20 people were evacuated from neighbouring blocks. 90 members of State Fire and Rescue Department continue to search for victims.

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the tragedy. He said that the occupiers inflicted such blows to turn the lives of Ukrainians into hell and terror. The head of Ukraine also expressed condolences to the victims and their families.

"Evil will not reign on our land. We will drive out all the occupiers, and they will surely be responsible for everything," concluded Zelenskyy.
