The new law prohibits the production and distribution of information products aimed at supporting Russia. Now the Ukrainians will be held responsible for denying Russian aggression. Ukrainians may also be held criminally responsible for cooperating with Russian occupiers.
The first person against whom a criminal case will be opened will be the acting mayor of Melitopol Galina Danilchenko. She appeared after the Russian military kidnapped the mayor of Melitopol and called on the Ukrainians to surrender.
