“Ryanair” Announced the Launch of New Directions

Low-cost airline "Ryanair" set the 2022 flight schedule, which will enter into force on March 27

Most of the new directions, in the amount of 6, will be from Lviv. From Borispol and Odesa — three new directions, and from Kherson — one. In total, the frequency of flights on all new routes will be 28 flights per week.

Now the summer flight schedule from Ukraine Ryanair considers the largest in its history. It will have 90 routes with a total frequency of about 230 flights per week.

 New flights from Kyiv:

  • Brussels (Charleroi): from 27 March, 4 times a week;
  • Corfu (Kerkira): from 7 June, once a week;
  • Stockholm (Arlandia): since 29 March, twice a week.

New flights from Lviv:

  • Barcelona: from 27 March, twice a week;
  • Brussels (Charleroi): from 27 March, twice a week;
  • Gdansk: from 27 March, 3 times a week
  • Nuremberg: from 30 March, twice a week;
  • Stockholm (Arlandia): from 27 March, twice a week;
  • Zagreb: from 27 March, twice a week.

New flights from Odesa:

  • Brussels (Charleroi): from 27 March, twice a week;
  • London (Stansted): from 27 March, twice a week;
  • Venice (Marco Polo): since 27 March, twice a week.

New flights from Kherson:

  • Warsaw (Modlin): from 28 March, twice a week.

 Ryanair notes that the launch of new flights is possible due to the open skies agreement between the EU and Ukraine. However, this document allowed the low-cost airline to open only one new route from Ukraine’s airports — to the Brussels airport Charleroi. On all other new routes, Ryanair was able to launch flights earlier under current arrangements. Most of the new routes of Europe’s largest low-cost airline could also launch under existing arrangements.
