In May, the law On medicines came into force, authorizing the import of medicines manufactured in Russia and Belarus. At this stage, Ukraine has stopped purchasing products from the Hungarian company Gedeon Richter.
The Ministry of health reassures: there will be no shortage for Ukrainians. Ukraine has one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in Europe, Darnitsa, and the pharmacological sphere itself is very developed in the country. According to the law, the drugs that fell under the sanctions must have at least 2 analogues, therefore, for each of the 35 prohibited drugs from Gedeon Richter in Ukraine, there are 23-34 analogues.
