The Russian government has decided to replenish the reserves of its army, which is fighting on the territory of Ukraine, at the expense of militants from the private military company Liga (formerly Wagner).
Russia also attracts military units of the Eastern and Central military districts.
"Many units have already been destroyed or lost their combat capability at this stage, and these reserves are being used to restore their combat capability. The regrouping is also strengthening troops in areas important to Russia," said Kyrylo Budanov, head of the defense Ministry's intelligence department.
