"I expect that the implementation of the signed agreement will significantly strengthen the capabilities and combat potential of the Ukrainian fleet, and our cooperation will be a driver of the restoration of the shipbuilding industry of Ukraine," said Ukroboronprom CEO Yuriy Gusev.
Ukrgazvydobuvannya plans to use the new exploration method to assess the oil and gas potential of the Black Sea areas, to search for hydrocarbons in the Carpathian folded belt, and to study the licensed areas in the Dnipro-Donetsk basin.
"Basin modeling is another step towards reducing risks, especially drilling. Thanks to this technology, we will be able to increase the accuracy of risk assessment for both promising facilities and large geological structures in order to increase the resource base and production of Naftogaz," commented on the introduction of the new technology, the director of the division Naftogaz Exploration and Production Olexander Romanyuk.
It is noted that the signing of the agreement will also contribute to the effective implementation of the tripartite Memorandum on the implementation of the UNCEP program, signed by the ministry of defense of Ukraine, the UK Government, and Babcock, in which the latter acts as a major industrial partner.
