Eurocar is the largest in Ukraine building factory of foreign automobiles. Due to Russia’s attack on Ukraine, the plant stopped its activities. All foreign deliveries also stopped, and the Ukrainians ceased to be interested in cars. Since 24 February, the factory in the western part of the country has become a camp for internally displaced persons.
But now the Ukrainians have understood that to win it is necessary to work, live, buy food, things and cars. So Eurocar is going back to work, too. Skoda is the first brand that is ready to return to sales in Ukraine. This brand is being assembled at the Eurocar factory, which will begin work in early summer.
The plant has already opened the possibility to order a car. Bayers can expect the completion of the new Skoda assembly up to 280 days. Before the war, Eurocar produced crossovers Skoda Karoq Kodiaq, Fabia hatchback, as well as liftback and Superb station wagon. The plant’s press service reports that the machine assembly time can be smaller depending on the number of buyers.
Note also that earlier at the Ukrainian factory produced cars: Skoda, Seat, Audi and Volkswagen. In 2021, the plant collected 3.476 Skoda cars.
