In mid-September, the Forum on peace and prosperity was held in the city of Jeju in South Korea. Within the framework of this forum, an exhibition covering military events in Ukraine was held.
"During September 14-16, the annual Forum on peace and prosperity was held at the International conference centre in Jeju, South Korea. As part of this event, a presentation of the photo exhibition Kyiv: a report of one day took place. March 8, 2022," Ministry of culture and information policy of Ukraine.
The exhibition features 44 photographs taken in Kyiv during 13 days of the war. The photos reflect the life of the metropolis, where for a million inhabitants, there is only one thought — the war. The city is blocked by barricades, checkpoints, and anti-tank hedgehogs. The station is filled with refugees from other cities, and houses are destroyed. The exhibition reflects the feelings and emotions of people, as well as the state of the military capital.
"The presentation of the exhibition at the Forum has become a sign of special support for Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression," minister of culture and information policy of Ukraine Oleksandr Tkachenko.
The exhibition was attended by the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Korea, Dmytro Ponomarenko and representatives of the city government of Jeju, which in 1948 received the status of "island of peace".
