South Korean Aid Package to Ukraine

July 10: "To defend Ukraine's freedom"

On July 10, the Korean media Yonhap reported on the response to Ukraine's request for aid. In addition to previous packages of lethal and humanitarian aid, South Korea sent a military transport plane to Ukraine, the contents of which will help "defend Ukraine's freedom."

On board, the plane will be logistical support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and humanitarian cargo. The collection of aid for Ukraine began on July 10 — after the arrival of South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol in Vilnius, where he will take part in the NATO summit.

From February 24, 2022, Korea repeatedly sent Ukraine election materials and humanitarian aid.
