On June 5, a delegation led by the leader of the ruling party Lee Jun-seok arrived to Ukraine. The primary goal of the visit is to express support for Ukraine and respect for Ukraine's struggle for freedom and democracy. It is noteworthy that the delegation's planned visit was not announced in the press.
The head of the Kyiv regional military administration Oleksii Kuleba said on his Telegram channel.
"Today, the parliamentary delegation of the Republic of Korea headed by the ruling party leader of the People's Power party Lee Jun-seok paid an official visit to the Kyiv region. The foreign delegation visited the burial places of tortured civilians in Bucha and inspected the destroyed residential neighborhoods in Irpin."
The Korean delegation offered its assistance in rebuilding the Kyiv region and discussed ways of cooperation with Ukrainian agencies.
