Spain Joins Ukraine’s IT Coalition, Strengthening Technological and Cyber Defense Support

During the recent meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in the “Ramstein” format, Spain officially signed the Declaration of Intentions, joining the IT coalition

This coalition focuses on enhancing Ukraine's capabilities in IT, communication, and cybersecurity. The news was shared by Ukraine's Ministry of Defense.

Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Development, Kateryna Chernogorenko, expressed gratitude, stating, "Spain's membership in the IT coalition is a major step forward. More countries are now committed to helping Ukraine advance technologically, allowing the military to deploy digital solutions that will produce real results."

Spain becomes the 13th country to join the IT coalition, which is co-led by Estonia and Luxembourg. The coalition has successfully raised over 70 million euros in financial and material contributions to bolster Ukraine's defense through IT and cybersecurity initiatives.
