On May 16, the president of Ukraine addressed the students of the best universities in America. There Volodymyr Zelenskyy for the first time reported on the development of a punitive project for the aggressor countries. The system of punishment will be extended to all countries that violate the sovereignty, international and legal norms of other States, and the customs of war. But the Russian Federation will be the first country to try out the draft punishment.
According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine and other representatives of modern states create a precedent of punishing an aggressor who starts a war. This step is necessary to break the Russian precedent. Zelenskyy said that if the Russian precedent works and breaks Ukraine, many states will follow suit. This leads to wars and even more deaths.
"What is Ukraine doing with its partners now? Trying to set another precedent - that all aggressors in the world will once and for all see that war will create the biggest problems for them, for the aggressors. We make them aware that they spread hatred against ordinary people and strike other people first and foremost. And then the free world will refuse to deal with those who spread such hatred," said the president of Ukraine.
Also, the Ukrainian politician and head of state said that Ukraine will never be just an observer.
