State Program to Connect the Internet in the Villages

For the first time, almost 1.000 Ukrainian schools were connected to the internet in various villages of Ukraine

The minister of digital transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov, together with the team, inspected the results of the Internet subvention during a working visit to the village of Sasynivka, located in the Poltava region. 6 social institutions are connected, including a school, a kindergarten, and a library. The test showed that internet access is fast and stable an average of 320 MB/sec over Wi-Fi.

In total, more than 2.900 villages and 6.500 social facilities, including 930 schools, were connected under the Internet subvention. It is an opportunity for children and teachers to acquire knowledge and opportunities and not just limit themselves to textbooks that are available in the village or community. It also provides a learning process during quarantine.
