Sting and Ukrainian Cellist Performed in Support of Ukraine

On April 16, at the London "Palladium," Sting performed the song “Russians” to donate money to a “country fighting for its freedom”

Rock musician Sting took a clear pro-Ukrainian position and expressed his support for our country more than once. Today, on the stage of the concert hall, Sting and Ukrainian cellist Yaroslava Trofimchuk performed Sting's song Russians. It was written in 1985 about the Cold War, and today, Sting says, it is relevant to Ukraine.

The song performed by Sting's guitar and Yaroslava's cello will be monetized, and the money will be transferred to the Help Ukraine Center. Ukrainian businessmen created this fund for humanitarian donations to Ukraine from all over the world.

Since the first day of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, many musicians, artists, actors, and other members of the cultural elite have banded together to help our country. Thanks to their assistance, millions of dollars have already been transferred to the accounts of Ukrainian charitable organizations and international foundations in support of Ukraine.
